Stretcher.org is a regularly updated online publication that gives voice
to visual art and culture in the Bay Area, while connecting with creative
communities globally. The publication will offer: (1) A window into the
vitality of visual art activity in the Bay Area. (2) Critical cultural
discourse by and between artists, writers, curators, dealers, and thinkers
outside the art world. (3) Resources for artists and audiences.

Reviews:
Stretcher features reviews of local, national and international exhibits by contributing writers from the Bay Area and beyond.
Essays:
Each full issue of Stretcher features several longer essays that reflect on current concerns.
Dinner Salon:
The Dinner Salon uses the casual and collective format of an informal dinner to explore current, cultural affairs. The Salon features four or five guests and a Stretcher editor as moderator, who come together to share food, while discussing a selected timely topic.
Face-Off:
The Face-Off is an opportunity to bring a local artist, curator, writer, theorist, gallerist, collector or arts administrator into contact with peers to discuss, face-to-face, issues that are pertinent to current cultural issues.
Artists’ Projects:
Each issue features one or more artists’ projects that have been selected specifically for the site and the theme.
Multiples:
Stretcher is pleased to inaugurate its Stretcher Artists’ Multiples. Artists who have collaborated on the site create an item such as a mousepad or a lunchbox for the Stretcher store.
